Community Connections Program
This is a volunteer driver transportation program for seniors and the disabled. The key to the program is providing mileage reimbursement for volunteers to transport individuals who are unable to use public transportation because of illness, disability, or other reasons.

• Seniors or disabled persons only

• Ride must originate in Claremont, La Verne, Pomona, or San Dimas

• Rides can be arranged to cities across county lines and to multiple destinations

• Passengers recruit their own volunteer drivers from persons that they already know and trust

• Requests for these services are submitted for review and approval by an eligibility committee

• Passengers submit a record of miles driven by the volunteer driver for reimbursement
