Family Support Group

This group is for family members and caretakers ONLY. It is a caring group of individuals (family and loved ones) helping one another by utilizing their collective lived experiences and learned wisdom.

Connection Support Group Online

This group is for those dealing with a mental illness and offers respect, understanding, encouragement and hope.

We’ve had several groups of college students come to our support groups asking to observe for a class requirement.

Unfortunately, NAMI Pomona Valley’s policy does not allow for observation. Unless the students meet the requirement of family/caretaker OR peer/consumer, they are not allowed to “observe” our support groups.

If you receive a call from a college student about this matter please refer them to Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance. www.dbsalliance.org. They usually allow observations on the request that “observing” not be made obvious.
